The Culinary Arts program at Oak Hammock Middle School immerses students in the art and science of cooking, fostering an appreciation of culinary traditions from around the world. The Beginning Culinary course emphasizes foundational kitchen skills, food safety, and teamwork, providing opportunities for placement into advanced culinary levels. Students will learn essential techniques such as proper measuring, knife skills, and recipe development. Through hands-on practice, students will gain confidence and competence in creating both savory and sweet dishes, while also exploring food plating and presentation.
