MUSIC and Film Production programs Oak Hammock Middle School introduce students to the art of television and film acting and producing.

Music Production teaches students how to utilize the latest music production programs to create instrumentals, write songs, and record their own original material. Different genres of music will be incorporated, exposing students to the behind-the-scenes of making music. Students will learn about the different roles of the music industry and learn how to publish their own original songs for the world to hear.

Film Production teaches students how to develop a film from beginning to end. Students will learn how to write scripts, direct, produce, and film their own original material. Taking words from the page to the screen, students learn how to tell a story through film. Using mobile technology, students will film, learn how to edit, and add sound effects in post-production. Students will gain experience both behind the camera and in front of the camera.
