Jessica Boisbel

AVID Coordinator & Teacher
About Me:
Hello! My name is Jessica Boisbel. I am the proud daughter of Haitian immigrants who migrated to the United States in the early 80s. I was born in New Jersey & moved to Fort Myers at a young age, thus making me a product of the Lee County School System.
After high school, I left Fort Myers to attend the greatest HBCU in Florida, Bethune- Cookman University. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Science Education with a minor in History, as well as a Master's in Transformative Leadership. I currently hold a teaching certificate from the state of Florida in Social Science Education 6-12.
I have had the pleasure of being part of the OHMS family for the past 9 years. During my time at the Oak, I have served our students as an American History teacher, Testing Coordinator, Teacher Mentor, Department Chair, After School Activities Coordinator as well as AVID Coordinator & Teacher.
I look forward to another great year as an Oakie!
