Ms. Stoughton is originally from New Jersey, but has lived in Southwest Florida since she was a toddler. After graduating from North Fort Myers High School, she attended Florida Gulf Coast University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and Master of Arts degree in school counseling.
As a School Counselor, Ms. Stoughton is available to help students with a variety of needs. Her main focus is on academic achievement, career exploration, social skills, and emotional regulation. She can also help with scheduling questions and is always happy to help students and families with any concerns they may have.
Ms. Stoughton is looking forward to another wonderful year at Oak Hammock. She is determined to help all students, families, and staff overcome challenges and build resiliency.

Mrs. Bruce was born and raised in Fort Myers and was also a student in the Lee County School system. She attended elementary and middle school at Alva and then went to Riverdale for high school. She has her bachelor’s degree in secondary education and her master’s degree in school counseling. Before settling in at Oak Hammock, she was a teacher for 7 years at Riverdale.
