The Osprey Nest Before & After School Programs

The Osprey Nest before care is designed to provide a supervised environment for Oak Hammock Middle School students prior to 9:00 a.m. The program operates from 6:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. when school is in session. After 9:00 a.m., all students may enter campus and will be supervised free of charge in the cafe. All students dropped off prior to 9:00 a.m. must be enrolled in the Osprey Nest Before School Program. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, students are not able to hang around on campus before 9:00 a.m. The aftercare program is designed for students who need supervision and are not staying for tutoring or after-school clubs. Aftercare runs from 4:20 pm to 6:00 pm. 

If you wish to enroll your child in one or both of these programs, please send the school your completed registration form and $10.00 registration fee. Registration fees are non-refundable. School District Employees' children are eligible to receive up to 50% off. The costs that your child incurred (registration fees and daily charges) may be tax deductible. A receipt will be issued every time money is turned into the school during the previous calendar year for a possible childcare deduction. 

The cost of the program is $5.00 per day per program that your child attends and payments must be received in advance. We accept cash, and checks (made out to Oak Hammock Middle School). If writing a check, please add your child’s name to the check. The Lee County School District does not extend credit to these types of Programs. Non-payment of fees will result in having your child dismissed from the program. There is a $25 charge for all returned checks. Students NOT picked up by 6:00 from the aftercare program will be charged $10 for every 15 minutes after 6:00.
