Principal's Message

Welcome to Oak Hammock Middle School

Dear Osprey Families,

It is my absolute privilege to welcome you to another incredible school year at Oak Hammock Middle School. Whether you are a returning family or spreading your wings with us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our Osprey family. Middle school is a time of immense growth, and we are dedicated to helping our students soar academically, socially, and creatively.

It Starts with the Arts!

As a premier Magnet School for the Arts, we firmly believe that "It Starts with the Arts." Creativity is not just an elective here—it is woven directly into our culture of academic excellence. Our innovative Arts Program empowers students to express themselves through:

Performance: Theatre, band, and orchestra
Visual Arts: Innovative hands-on drawing, painting, and graphic arts
Digital Media: State-of-the-art TV, film, and music production

By integrating the arts across our rigorous curriculum, we challenge our students to think globally, solve complex problems, and reach their highest potential.

Partnering for Osprey Success

We know that a middle schooler's success relies heavily on a strong bridge between home and school. We invite our parents and community members to actively collaborate with us, become a member of our School Advisory Committee, attend our student showcases, and participate in our school events. Together, we foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every student feels valued.

Thank you for choosing Oak Hammock.

Let’s make this a masterfully creative and successful school year!

Sincerely,
Brian Mangan
