Natalie Stasiowski, Music Director
Natalie Stasiowski received her degree in Music Education from the Bower School of Music at Florida Gulf Coast University and currently teaches Band and Orchestra at Oak Hammock Middle School. She also has experience with Guitar and General Music at the middle and high school levels and is actively involved in professional opportunities at both the local and state levels. During her career, Natalie has engaged in performances with the Wind Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and Artis-Naples. She has served as the lead Recording Engineer for the Bower School of Music and facilitated multiple performances for guest artists. She is a member of Florida Bandmasters Association, Florida Orchestra Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi. Outside of teaching, Natalie enjoys baking desserts, photography, and catching up on missed television episodes.
Band and Orchestra Programs consist of three ensemble levels: Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced. Students focus on fundamentals of instrumental technique, music theory and music reading.
Musicians at OHMS the have opportunity to audition for All County, All State and to participate in Solo & Ensemble Festival. The Band and Orchestra programs perform in a range of venues including the Hammond Miracle Baseball Stadium, The SWFL International Airport and the Lee County School District. In addition, students have the opportunity to be members in the OHMS Symphony Orchestra (combining both band and orchestra students) and the OHMS Chamber Strings.
